CUSMEX Strengthens Strategic Cooperation and Employment Opportunities in Querétaro

The President of the Canada–U.S.–Mexico Trade Council (CUSMEX), Victor Rosales, visited the State of Querétaro for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Congress of the State of Querétaro, accompanied by the Secretary of Government, Eric Gudiño Torres, and Congressman Arturo Maximiliano García.

This agreement establishes a strategic cooperation framework aligned with CUSMEX’s free programs to promote economic development, employment, and competitiveness in the State of Querétaro.

During the event, CUSMEX also presented the results of the “Work in North America” program, delivering employment contracts to four construction workers from Querétaro. These contracts have a two-year duration, include paid flights, the possibility of obtaining permanent residency, and offer a salary of 35 Canadian dollars per hour and 52.50 Canadian dollars per overtime hour.

It is important to highlight that participation in this program is completely free for workers.

CUSMEX also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Querétaro Wine Cluster, represented by Eugenio Parrodi Wiechers, to promote cooperation in agro-industry, wine production, exports, investment attraction, and tourism development within the North American market.

CUSMEX extends its appreciation to FIRA for their participation in this important event.
