CUSMEX

The Canada - U.S. - Mexico Trade Council (CUSMEX) is a trinational business organization committed to strengthening and expanding trade, economic, and investment ties among the three leading economies of North America.

Our Structure

The governing body of CUSMEX has been structured into three boards of directors, one in each North American country. The directors serving on each board are distributed across various states and provinces within Canada, the United States, and Mexico, ensuring diverse and balanced representation in the decision-making process.

Our Mission

The mission of the council is to create strategic opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs from Canada, the United States, and Mexico through innovative initiatives, institutional cooperation, and specialized programs that strengthen trade, investment, competitiveness, and talent development across the region.

Expansion & Strategic Outlook

In 2023, CUSMEX expanded its regional presence with the opening of vice presidencies in California and Mexico City. In 2024, additional vice presidencies were established in Paris, Madrid, India, and El Salvador, strengthening commercial linkages and talent mobility between North America, Europe, Asia, and Central America.

By the end of 2025, CUSMEX plans to establish representation in twenty Mexican states, fifteen U.S. states, and six Canadian provinces. Looking ahead to 2028, its goal is to achieve presence in all 95 federative entities of North America, consolidating a high-impact network that serves as a strategic channel for trade promotion, product placement, and business intelligence.
